More pictures from the wedding

I had a wonderful time at the wedding. It was great to have all the girls back together again--even if it was for a brief moment in time.

Melody's Wedding Day

Some wedding pictures of Mr. and Mrs. David Dundee...

I love this picture!! Meredith was trying to help lace up the dress and also create a bustle so she could hold the train on the dress up for the reception. It was such a wonderful moment!

Melody and David after they had just fed cake to each other. They were really nice about it and didn't smash it in each other's faces.

Melody's wedding rehearsal

After our bridal lunch, we headed over to Melody's parents' house in Greenbriar to set up for the wedding. They have a beautiful place out there, and it was such perfect weather for Mel's outside wedding!!

The beautiful bride showing off her balancing skills and her legs. I love her outfit!!

Melody and David had cupcakes instead of traditional wedding cake. There were 6 different flavors and the two flavors I tasted were delicious!!

Just a close-up shot of the crown that Melody was forced to wear for part of the afternoon.

The bridesmaids with the beautiful bride in the "fairytale forest". *NOTE: We came out of the forest in order to walk down the aisle so we nicknamed the wedding "Melody's fairytale forest wedding".

Melody's bridal shower

My weekend began Friday morning with a bridal shower for Melody at Oak Street Bistro in Conway. The food was delicious! I took some pictures...

This is Melody, me, Meredith, and Dusty (Melody's sister in case you can't tell). It was such a nice day and we had a great lunch outside on the patio.

Thanks!

Just wanted to say thank you to all of you who are taking time out of your lives to actually read this, and thank you for all the comments, too!! I've been really consumed with work this week (from both jobs) so I haven't had much time to blog, sorry.

But I have a HUGE weekend coming up so I will have lots to write about. One of my best friends (Melody) is getting married!!! I will have lots of pics and a recap, of course! I'm also really excited to see some of my other best friends who are coming in for the wedding (we are all bridesmaids)--Amanda is already here, Meredith is coming in from Chattanooga, and Raven is coming in from Los Angeles. I am so excited to see them all and have our girl time again!!

More dancing

Ok, so I got to watch all of Dancing with the Stars last night (even though I didn't get home from work until 8:00) and I was super excited that my pick Misty & Maks sailed through. But the true showstopper is Cloris! That 82 year old lady is a firecracker!! Sometimes she is painful to watch because she truly has no filter on her mouth, but it is very entertaining! She definitely is not the best dancer on the show, but I hope I can dance like that when I'm 82. Shoot, I wish I could dance as well as her now--God did not grace me with rhythm. I think the funniest was when she had received her scores, then she told America "Listen, I'm not gonna be voted off so don't do it." I don't want to see her go because you never know what she's gonna do!!

And I have to give a small shout-out for entertainment purposes to Samantha Harris. Why is she even still on this show? Some of the things that come out of her mouth! She just babbles about randomness half the time, but it always gives me a good chuckle.

Dancing with the Stars

I did not get to watch all of Dancing with the Stars last night, but hopefully I can squeeze in some time this afternoon to finish it on abc.com. I already know who I am rooting for, though--Misty May-Treanor and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. I did not get to see them dance last night, but Maks has always been my favorite pro so I will be pulling for thim this season.

New art

My gun inspired me to create a new art piece. It is my favorite so far out of all that I have done. What do you think? Would you buy it? Should I start selling them?

Lazy afternoon

After we got home from the shooting range, I decided to take a nap. Evidently, all the dogs liked my idea because they joined me. I had Giambi, Bentley, Mudsey, and Longfellow. (We were dogsitting Mudsey and Longfellow this weekend). I can't believe that Lee got them all to look at the camera at the same time!! Oh, and Bentley actually takes naps like that--he hangs over the edge of the couch. Crazy, I know, but it is so cute!!

Think twice before breaking in to my house

It's official. I'm now armed but dangerous only if necessary. Lee has been bugging me for months about getting a gun for me and getting my concealed weapon license. I finally agreed. The gun he found is perfect for me. I LOVE it. Of course we went to the shooting range so that I could break it in. Here are some pics...

Seriously!? Boar urine???

Ok, so Lee and I were at a hunting store this weekend. I was bored out of my mind (imagine that) so I decided to call my Grandma. While I was talking to her, I was wondering around looking at things and something caught my eye. Someone has bottled and is selling boar urine. Oh, there were other animal urines, too--deer urine, coon urine, etc. My first thought was, "Seriously? Who would buy boar urine and why?" Then after my initial disgust, I thought about the process that someone has to go through to get the urine. I don't even want to know if animal catheters exist or how that works.

Obviously, I went to find Lee to ask him what he knows about this boar urine ordeal. He tried to explain that hunters use it to attract other boars or whatever animal you are hunting. Personally, I find this to be a totally unfair advantage. If you are a true hunter, why can't you just hunt them without tricking them into your death trap? I'm practically *thisclose* to being a vegetarian anyway and a very finnicky eater, so please don't write me telling me how horrible it is for other animals at slaughterhouses and whatnot--I get it. I just disagree with boar urine principles.

90210 baby daddy

Ok, I finally got around to watching this week's episode of 90210 and I am SO EXCITED that Dylan is Sammy's daddy! I loved the old 90210 and watched every single episode. I have always been a huge fan of Kelly and Dylan so I can't wait for their anticipated reunion on the new 90210!!

Busy weekend

Last weekend was kinda hectic. We had Josh & Ashley down for the weekend. They brought Callie who immediately became great friends with Giambi & Bentley. They played and played and played...

Friday night, Lee and I went to Amanda and Chase's engagement party in Conway. We had such a good time! They will be having their wedding there on the family farm, and it is a gorgeous place!! We also got to see Melody while we were there, and it was great to catch up with her. She'll be Mrs. Melody Dundee in a little over a week so I'm getting very excited about her wedding, too. But I'll post more on that when the big day arrives.

Then on Saturday, I went shopping in Little Rock with Natalie. We met Nicole at a little place called Dreamweavers. I was very hesitant about checking it out because it is a home decor place that is only open on the second Saturday of the month from 7:00 until 1:00. I had no idea what kind of place to expect, but it was a cool little place. They have a lot of rugs and pillows that are inexpensive. I didn't find anything this trip, but I'll definitely remember it in the future.

Saturday afternoon was not as pleasant as the morning, though. It started storming, and I went to help Jesse and Heather unload all of their furniture off of the trailer before it got wet. We didn't get it all off in time, but I think we got everything dried off before any major damage was done to it. I was totally drenched!! (And they were, too.)

So I went home and dried off. That night, Lee and I went to dinner with Josh and Ashley. Then we came home and Mom ended up coming over. (She, Jared, and Staci had come down to visit Jesse and Heather). Mom, Ashley, and I ended up staying up real late talking. It was a good time.

Then on Sunday, we spent the morning at Jesse and Heather's house visiting with them, Mom, Jared, and Staci. After that, Lee and I spent most of the day in Little Rock doing some shopping and business related stuff. When we got home, we watched the last episodes of the Sopranos (we had been watching it on Netflix for several months now). I'm undecided on how I feel about the ending. Someone had already spoiled it for me so I knew what was coming.

Hola

Well, I have contemplated doing this whole blog thing for quite some time now, but I have always talked myself out of it for one reason or another. The truth is that I am a fairly boring person--BUT I do have drama all around me (I must be a strong magnet attracting it) and I am VERY opinonated (which has a tendency to piss people off). So maybe this will be interesting after all.

And although my life is mostly boring, it is very BUSY. So you never know what you might find. I could post about anything from my completely random thoughts to my "jam-packed with activity" daily schedule.

Here goes nothing so hang on tight...
